Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

What an exciting 2023! After 26 years together, in March, Peter and I finally tied to knot and, after several years in the pipeline, Fred Bear is to be published this month. The expression, "Good Things Come to Those Who Wait" seems apt. So, although my pen name will remain as Flick Jones, my new official name is Mrs Cooksley. I must admit it is not easy to adjust to Cooksley and often feel an imposter when filling in a form, or asked my name. Marital bliss aside, I'm now focused on my new children's book, Fred Bear - A Very Threadbare Bear. I'm so looking forward to next Friday, 21st July, when "Fred" is officially outed! Not many more sleeps to go now...
